I can’t get the song “Rainy days and Mondays Always Get Me Down” out of my mind this morning……
I actually stayed in bed until 7:30 this morning unlike my usual 5 am and I woke up to the sound of heavy rain outside my window. Since the self-quarantine- I’ve found that one of the things I really look forward to is getting outside for a walk or run. The movement, the sunshine, and fresh air are good for my soul (not to mention my restlessness.) However, now with the pouring rain, I’ve got to get really creative with another plan. I know I shouldn’t complain, and since I’m a fitness instructor, I can easily conjure up a kick-butt workout for myself.
But first things first:
I’m sticking with my normal morning routine:
- Drink 20 ounces of lemon water and take my supplements
- Check emails and do my daily spiritual readings
- Enjoy my coffee with breakfast
Actually indulged myself and pulled out my french press this morning and added 1 tbsp of organic coconut oil, grass-fed butter, and a sprinkle of cinnamon for a delicious bulletproof concoction
I decided to try avocado toast with eggs this morning. I haven’t had this in a while but it’s filling and delicious…
