“Somehow, we’ll find it. The balance between whom we wish to be and whom we need to be. But for now, we simply have to be satisfied with who we are.”
Try to work every day on CORE HEALTHY HABITS: HYDRATION, MINDFUL food CHOICES, PLANNING HEALTHY MEALS AND SNACKS, and your daily food JOURNAL. These habits need to be established in order to see change.
On the weekends we tend to splurge a bit, which is perfectly fine as long as you learn about BALANCE. Balance the not so healthy choices with healthier ones. If you are going to have wine and chocolate, make sure you offset that with a good workout the same day and that you make healthy food choices for breakfast and lunch. Also, consider eating on the lighter side on your cheat day to allow for the extra splurge calories.
Make a habit of being consistent. Get your workouts in – even if it’s a short one. Try 10 minutes in the morning and 10 in the evening. It doesn’t matter how you split it up- Just get it done. Everyone has 10 minutes
Life’s all about balance!
