“Think of your many years of procrastination; how the gods have repeatedly granted you further periods of grace, of which you have taken no advantage. It is time now to realize the nature of the universe to which you belong, and of that controlling Power whose offspring you are; and to understand that your time has a limit set to it. Use it, then, to advance your enlightenment; or it will be gone, and never in your power again.”
― Marcus Aurelius, Meditations
Time is our most precious commodity, yet we waste it daily. They say with age comes wisdom and for some of us that’s a valuable lesson learned much too late. It’s so easy to procrastinate and put off things we think we will have time for in the future. However without a plan of action, you can easy wake up one day and realize your time has run out.
Consider starting today with at least an outline for a plan of action. Write down the most important goals you have for your future and put a deadline on them. Put this outline in clear sight and take a day each week to update your goals with specific steps to make those goals more attainable.

In the age of botox, liposuction, and facelifts, is there such a thing as aging gracefully? In our youth oriented culture, many people look at aging as losing their looks, their health, and their value in society. Aging is inevitable; everyone gets older, but how we age is greatly influenced by lifestyle factors. The foods you eat, the daily decisions you make, how you take care of your body, can all have a huge impact on how you age. We will all get wrinkles and maybe some gray hairs. However, facelifts, liposuction, and botox will not change our age or help us find the fountain of youth. The fountain of youth is within you; you can age with beauty and grace by building a strong foundation. You have the ability to slow down the aging process with exercise, good nutrition and self care. So take charge of how you age by making better lifestyle choices today.
